Mission statement
To prevent suicide and restore hope by modeling a life of purpose through digital storytelling and survivor support.
Rooted in suicide loss support
Being involved with “Heart Beat of Grand Junction” support for suicide loss survivors changes how you see pain, healing, and human connection. This organization provides a safe space where those shattered by suicide can find understanding without judgment. Through this community, we learn that supporting people in their darkest moments requires deep empathy, active listening, and unwavering presence.

To help someone considering suicide, we must lean in rather than look away. We learn to ask directly about suicide, listen to their pain without trying to fix it immediately, and keep them safe by connecting them to professional resources. Your willingness to hear their heaviest thoughts can break their isolation and save a life.
To help those who have lost someone to suicide, we must understand that grief is a long, non-linear journey. We help survivors by showing up consistently, speaking their loved one's name, and creating spaces where they can express anger, guilt, or sadness freely. True support means walking alongside them in the silence, long after the initial shock has passed.
